 Government guidance

The DFE have tweeted the following:

“We have been informed some parents have received an email stating:

‘As schools will be closing, if you're entitled to free school meals, please send your bank details and we'll make sure you're supported’.

This is a scam email - do not respond, and delete immediately.

 Home learning

Our lovely Chair of Governors Mr Quick has decided to do his bit for parents by taking on bedtime story duties via YouTube! Brilliantly named “Get up with Wicks, go to sleep with the Quicks”; here are the links for chapter one of two stories:

 Enchanted Wood by Enid Blyton:

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J K Rowling:

 Wellbeing and support

Thank you Dr Salmon for sending the link to a cartoon explaining the virus to children: https://youtu.be/JCKEhUfIpAY

Many thanks for your understanding, support and cooperation during this challenging time. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or queries.

Wellbeing Pack

School Work during Self Isolation

If your child (or another family member) is unwell and displaying symptoms that require them to self-isolate, we have some suggested activities you may wish to do with them if they feel well enough:

One of the best things your child can do every day, alone, with you, to you, read to them by you!

Get some physical exercise and fresh air

Why not have a go at the National Trust’s “50 things to do before you are 11 ¾”. Many of which can be done in your own garden.

Other areas of learning

Please see below learning activity booklets that your child/ren can do.

Activity booklets for Early Years will follow when available.

In the event of a school closure, we will provide year group specific learning activities for every child.
